Daneshia Moore
Daneshia Moore is a dedicated community professional, Employment Specialist, and Notary Public who is passionate about helping individuals overcome barriers to employment and build sustainable career paths. With a strong background in community advocacy and workforce development, she works closely with individuals who face challenges securing and maintaining employment, providing guidance, resources, and encouragement to help them succeed.
Daneshia holds degrees in Healthcare Administration and Criminal Justice, along with three minor degrees that have strengthened her knowledge of public service systems and community support structures. Her professional experience includes serving as a Detention Secretary and Administrative Assistant, roles that provided her with valuable insight into the criminal justice system and further fueled her commitment to advocacy and support for individuals navigating complex life challenges.
In addition to her professional work, Daneshia is an active civic leader and serves as a board member for the Kalamazoo County Open Data Citizen Advisory Board, and also served as a board member for Kalamazoo Children Abuse and Neglect and Associate of Josie's-Josie's Push. Ms.Moore contributes to initiatives she is focused on transparency, and helping serve with hospitality and community engagement. Also, an Entrepreneur where she assists with many roles.
Outside of her professional and community service roles, Daneshia is a proud mother of two active children who are involved in academics, church, and sports. She values faith, family, and community, and strives to lead by example with the saying "perfectly imperfect" through service, leadership, and prayer.
